Return window

We accept eligible return requests within 14 days of delivery.

To start a return, please email returns@vanillagoods.com with your order number, the name or email used to place the order, a short description of the issue, and photos when applicable.

Please do not send any item back before contacting us. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Eligible returns

Because we sell food and flavor products, returns must be handled carefully for safety and quality reasons.

To be eligible for a standard return, the product must be:

  • Unopened
  • Unused
  • In its original packaging
  • In the same condition you received it
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Damaged, leaking, missing, or incorrect orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your product was damaged in transit, leaking, missing, or incorrect, email returns@vanillagoods.com as soon as possible.

Please include photos of the product, shipping box, packing materials, and any visible damage, leakage, or label issue. This helps us review the issue quickly and determine the best solution.

Food safety & non-returnable items

For customer safety, we generally cannot accept returns of opened or used food products.

The following items are typically non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, incorrect, or defective:

  • Opened vanilla extract
  • Opened vanilla beans
  • Opened vanilla powder
  • Opened vanilla sugar
  • Custom, special-order, or wholesale products
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale or clearance items

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please email us. We would rather review the situation than leave you guessing.

Quality concerns

Vanilla is a natural product, and color, aroma, moisture, bean size, and flavor profile may vary slightly by origin, crop, curing method, and batch.

That said, we stand behind the quality of our products. If something does not seem right, contact returns@vanillagoods.com and include photos with a brief explanation of what you noticed.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to contact us first at returns@vanillagoods.com.

If your exchange is approved, we will guide you through the best next step. In some cases, we may recommend placing a new order while we process the original return or issue.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval, but your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the funds.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at returns@vanillagoods.com.

Shipping costs

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, a damaged shipment, or an incorrect item.

Return shipping responsibility will be reviewed based on the reason for the return. If the issue was caused by VanillaGoods or shipping damage, we will work with you on a fair solution.

Wholesale, bulk, and custom orders

Wholesale, bulk, private-label, special-order, and custom product orders may have different return terms due to product handling, volume, and order-specific preparation.

If there is an issue with a wholesale or custom order, please contact returns@vanillagoods.com and include your order details so we can review it directly.

EU orders, where applicable

If merchandise is shipped into the European Union and a mandatory cooling-off period applies, eligible customers may have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days, without providing a reason. Returned items must still be unused, unopened, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
